Minutes- October 2023 Monthly Meeting
The Monthly Meeting of the LOUISIANA XII CHAPTER of the BLUE KNIGHTS INTERNATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MOTORCYCLE CLUB was called to order on October 2nd at 7:00 PM by Chapter President Bruce Verrette.

1A: Roll call found 6 members present, 4 spouses present, and 1 child.

Item #2 - Treasurers Report
The Treasures Report was prepared and presented by Treasurer Pink Duckworth Copies of the Treasurers Report were distributed. As September 2023,
The Regular Account Balance is: $3723.16

Deposits President Verrette deposited $45.00 for new member Dues. +$45.00
Balance $3768.16

Item #3 -Vice President’s Report
3A- VP. Cormier had nothing to report.
Item #4 -President’s Report
4A -. President, Verrette advised us that Kenny Guidry of the Blue Knights LA-II chapter, while leaving their monthly meeting last week, lost control of his motorcycle on an oil slick on the road. Kenny broke some ribs and got some stitches in his head. He was in the hospital for two days. President Verrette advised Kenny received $1000.00 from the Band Aid Fund from the SRC Executive Board to assist with his medical bills.

5A- A motion was made to donate $500.00 to the SRC Band Aid Fund. Motion: Bruce Verrette

Treasurer Pink Duckworth issued check #1064 to President Verrette for $500.00 to be sent to the Band Aid Fund as listed in the memo.
Item #6 -The Next Monthly Meeting
We will not have a meeting in November due to many of us going on the cruise.
The next Monthly Meeting will be held on December 4th 2023 at the New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood restaurant at the Oakwood Mall. Dinner will be at 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:00 PM.
